Stella Jean, a 34-year-old designer who lives in Rome, received an invitation to show her new collection in the theater of Giorgio Armani’s Milan headquarters, the result of the maestro’s decision to help emerging fashion talents.“I’m still trembling and so excited,” Ms. Jean said. “It is unbelievable: a giant called me and it’s David and Goliath.”
