Celebrating Women’s Day

The African Ivory Germany joins the world to celebrate the International Women’s Day 2016.  The International Women’s Day which takes place on the 8th of March of every year is set aside to appreciate the contributions of women in all spheres of our society. It also offers an opportunity to reflect on the situation of women and explore the many possibilities that are open to them. This year’s general theme “Make it Happen”, challenges women and all members of the human society to continue to devote themselves to the actualization of the equality and respect for the rights of all women.

We wish to invite you to our third edition of this world’s event. In order to give as many women as possible the opportunity to celebrate this day and gain from the programs we have prepared, we are shifting our date to the 12th of March 2016 being Saturday. The 8th of March 2016 falls on Tuesday which is a working day.

Among our Guests to this year’s International Women’s Day are women groups from Cameroon, Nigeria, Congo, Brazil, India, Germany, Ghana, Kenya, and Tanzania.
